After attending schools with a focus on music and arts, I graduated with top honors in 2009 from Istituto Europeo di Design (IED), Sound Design branch. After that, i specialized in “Composition and Programming of Interactive Sound Interfaces” at the Scuole Civiche di Milano. In 2010, I entered the film industry, working as a production sound mixer and sound recordist for various Milan-based agencies in the multimedia sector. In 2020, I co-founded the collective +48 Sound Works, and since 2021 I'm partner and co-owner of the Milan-based production sound service company Kyo Sound

In addition to sound design for audiovisual productions (short films, commercials, and CGI), I also work in post-production, mastering, and broadcast-ready delivery. The expertise I have developed on film and television sets has further led me to specialize in dialogue processing and restoration, including voice treatment, dialogue cleanup, and environmental noise reduction. I also develop recording approaches for complex ambient sound capture and create interactive soundscapes. This includes the design and programming of sound systems and interactive audio interfaces using Max/MSP and Max for Live

Since 2010, I'm working as a production sound mixer and boom operator across film, television, and documentary productions, as well as independent cinema, reality TV, commercials, web and social media content, corporate productions, and private clients. Over the years, I've built a solid track record on a wide range of high-profile and fast-paced productions, gaining reliability, adaptability, and consistent technical excellence in demanding environments. This extensive field experience, combined with a strong passion for sound and a well-established network of collaborators, allows me to deliver scalable and production-ready audio solutions for any type of project. Through my production company Kyo Sound, I can also provide access to dedicated workflows, professional spaces, and a full range of owned high-end audio equipment, enabling a complete and flexible service structure. This setup allows me to cover the full spectrum of today’s audio-visual production needs—from small independent shoots to large-scale industry productions—ensuring efficiency, quality, and continuity at every stage.

TEACHING

Since 2019, I have been a thesis supervisor and member of the internal academic committee, as well as an audio consultant and lecturer in “Production Sound and Multimedia Design” at the Istituto Europeo di Design (IED) – Visual Arts in Milan, within the Sound Design department.
